Babelgum’s Chief Architect Follows CTO Out Door
Is Babelgum‘s bubblegum bursting? Three months after CTO Mallku Caballero quit the well-funded Dublin-based P2P TV startup, now chief technical architect Gianni Scenini tells us he has also gone. Caballero quit in November saying he “did not fully adhere to the vision and to the management style brought in by the new CEO.” Scenini said he left “pretty much for the same reasons”.

Scenini was responsible for the server side of the operation, which controls how shows get delivered, and had held similar senior tech positions at Lastminute.com and airline software service Amadeus prior to joining the outfit. Babelgum’s ad for Cabellero’s replacement is still open since November and the outfit is also hiring for Java server developers so the tech team down in Nice certainly has plenty of vacancies as it seeks to prove it can deliver TV over P2P.
