The BBC and ITV have won the UK broadcast and new media rights from European soccer body UEFA to its Euro 2008 championships. The rights package for the tournament, played between national teams and held in Austria and Switzerland next summer, includes coverage on internet and mobile services, as well as live broadcast of 32 games.
