Absolute Radio: In a bid for affiliate income, the broadcaster is taking advantage of a new iPod nano FM radio feature that lets listeners buy tracks heard on-air via iTunes Store. Built with UBC Media. More info.

EastEnders: The BBC will show a spin-off series aimed at yoof, online-only, from January. Named EastEnders:E20 (yah boii), it will also try characters’ video blogs etc. Release.

Digital Plus: After having had a joint bid with Vivendi (EPA: VIV) rebuffed, Telefonica (NYSE: TEF) has picked up a 21 percent stake in Prisa’s Spanish pay-TV satellite operator for €470 million. Via FT.com.
