Al Jazeera: The broadcaster is making its mobile services free - that means iPhone apps, streaming on mobile website, its Symbian and Windows Mobile apps. “We want Al Jazeera everywhere on mobile for free,” its mobile head Safdar Mustafa tells TechCrunch.

Spotify: It’s not exactly carrier bundling, but 3 UK is pre-loading its Sony (NYSE: SNE) Ericsson (NSDQ: ERIC) Vivaz handsets with the music service’s Symbian app. No bundled service, though - you’ll still need a £10-a-month subscription.

ABC (NYSE: DIS) on mobile VOD: On-Demand Group is licensing Disney-ABC shows like Lost and Desperate Housewives for 3 UK’s TV On-Demand subscription mobile TV service. The service is low-key on 3’s site but costs £5 a month or £1.49 a day.
