Ireland-based, Italian-funded P2P TV platform Babelgum is pressing on with cosying up to independent movie producers. The pair are inviting filmmakers’ submissions via the application, where they will supposedly be screened by judges - and, of course, made available to the viewing public. Entrants also go forward to Babelgum’s own festival, and continue save in the knowledge they have gifted their IP to an online video platform desperate for a kind of content that will differentiate it from competitors like Joost.
