BBC Auntie confirmed the date on which BBC One and Two will join its digital channels as live web simulcasts. The two main channels will stream from November 27 on their channel websites and via iPlayer. Already streaming were BBC Three, BBC Four, CBBC, CBeebies and BBC News.

Brash launch: Women’s web publisher Glam Media, which had already launched a men’s content network Brash.com last month to accompany its eponymous Glam.com, will launch a UK localisation on December 1. Providing content will be Pocketlint.co.uk, Anorak.co.uk, Trusted Places, Buck Magazine, Fitness Venues, and I Luv Fashion, and a number of big-name advertisers are in place. Glam launched in the UK earlier this year. Media Week reports.

Charlton FC: The Addicks is the latest club to launch its own broadband effort - a video and audio service accessed via paid subscription, CAFC TV will offer live commentary plus highlights, team interviews and behind-the-scenes footage. It’s part of the Football League Interactive (FLi) network of 79 club A/V sites, to which CAFC TV subscribers will also have access. Trial sub rate is £1.99 until Boxing Day.

Sky ITV (LSE: ITV) appeal: This may be confirmation the satcaster will appeal the ruling it must slim its 17.5 percent ITV stake to 7.5 percent. CEO Jeremy Darroch speaking at Morgan Stanley’s media/tech conference in Barcelona (via DJ): “Our position to be willing to hold the stake long-term hasn’t changed.” Darroch will take the next few weeks to decide for sure, however, and would barely comment on whether Sky might buy Tiscali.
