—Blinkx: The Video search engine has announced a series of search deals with travel sites, including the BBC Worldwide-owned Lonelyplanet.tv. Blinkx searches will show clips from several travel sites and give them their own channels—and the company will service contextual advertising alongside the results through its AdHoc platform, with the revenue shared between Blinx and the publishers. —Hand Up Media: Edinburgh-based production company Hand Up Media has launched Ethical.tv, a video news site covering foreign development and fairtrade projects in the UK.
