Motive TV signs DTT deal AIM-listed Motive Television has signed a deal with Barcelona-based broadcast-technology firm Adecq Digital SL to distribute its BesTV digital terrestrial TV technology worldwide, except in Spain where it is already popular and Italy, where it launches this autumn. The BesTV set-top box acts as a PVR and offers additional VOD content in addition to the regular DTT signal, without the need for an internet connection. Release, via How Do.

TF1-Orange: French broadcaster TF1 has signed a deal to add its content to Orange’s 24/24 VOD TV platform on a paid-for basis, before its terrestrial broadcast on TF1. From C21Media.net.

Babelgum’s Coldplay app: Online TV player Babelgum has launched another mobile video app: an exclusive iPhone app for Coldplay fans. It has some exclusive video, a news feed and a game. The company yesterday announced an exclusive deal to distribute clips from Funny or Die on iPhone and other mobile platforms.

Ten Alps: The publishing division of Bob Geldoff’s multimedia producer Ten Alps has re-launched its education portal IQmedia.co.uk with increased VOD content. Via How Do.
