Broadband Content Bits: Orange IPTV Channels; Hitwise In France; More Online Olympics Coverage

France IPTV: Orange France is upping its game in competition with pay-TV providers CanalSat and TV Numeric. It is in discussions to carry five new pay-TV channels on its IPTV and satellite services, currently only available on the other platforms: LCI, Eurosport, Paris Premiere, Planete and TF6. Bonjour, Hitwise: Online analytics company Experian Hitwise is launching an internet measurement service for France. It will report on 750,000 sites and one million search terms. No surprise that its first stat is that Google.fr is the most-visited website in France, accounting for one in every 10 internet visits. (Via Release.)

NRK Olympics: More Winter Olympics coverage online in Europe. Norway’s state broadcaster NRK is putting every minute of every event into a live and on-demand HD service online, which will also have stats and other features. The portal is accessible only in Norway. (Via TVoverNet)
