Broadband Content Bits: Sky’s E-Wallet; ABCe Figs; New Euro Regulator

BSkyB: The company is adding an e-wallet service to its online betting portals, to provide an alternative to using credit cards for every transaction. Sky Bet, Sky Poker, Sky Vegas and Sky Bingo currently have about 150,000 users and in 2009 brought in about £51.9 million in business (via iGamingBusiness)

ABCe Figures: The Audit Bureau of Circulations released its December figures on online newspaper consumption. The Guardian topped the list with nearly 37 million users, while the Mail Online reported nearly 33 million users. The Telegraph placed third with nearly 31 million users.

BEREC: The new European super-regulator for communications, officially called the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications, officially opened for business with its first meeting. It will cover issues such as net neutrality and the next generation of super-fast broadband. (via TelecomPaper)
