Spain’s three strikes: The Cabinet has approved an anti-piracy law that offers a graduated response to sites that engage in illegal file sharing. First warnings, then an appearance before a panel of experts, who decide whether to then refer the case to a judge. via CNBC

Omnifone and Gracenote: The digital music company is extending its relationship with music recognition and recommendaition service Gracenote,  to offer cloud-based music services to 30 territories in 2010. The service can be offered via operators and vendors of PCs, mobile handsets, tablets, TVs, gaming platforms, automotive, Blu-Ray players, portable and home audio systems. Release

Goodbye, Tiscali UK: The Carphone Warehouse-owned service provider has now rebranded all of the retail operations of Tiscali as TalkTalk, including the TV, broadband and web portal. It bought Tiscali in May 2009. TalkTalk provides broadband, mobile and voice services in the UK. via the TalkTalk blog
