STV mobile: Buoyed by Adobe’s upgrade that makes video more widespread, the Scottish broadcaster is planning an iPhone app for its STVPlayer VOD service in March, as well as a range of new mobile sites. Via STV.tv.

Generation Game: Another iPhone app - this time, the old BBC gameshow is the latest BBC Worldwide will add to its roster of apps that already includes Top Gear, Good Food and Lonely Planet. Via Guardian.co.uk.

Voddler hacked: The Swedish VOD site has shut down until March 8 after its media player was hacked. Instead, it’s launching a Flash-based service. Mixed feelings from users.
