Signs music is becoming a service - The Sun Online and ITV.com are each launching new music sections including, amongst other things, white-label download stores from UK vendor 7digital. The Sun’s new MusicBiz section primarily aggregates music showbiz news from the paper but also includes a gig tickets retail option, a partnership with SeeTickets; the downloads will follow (via NMA). ITV.com’s new section lists musical appearances across ITV (LSE: ITV) TV output while the link to 7digital’s store gives special treatment to artists appearing on ITV show, like Leona Lewis and Westlife (via Media Week).
