Utarget.fox-InSkin: News Corp-own video ad network Utarget.fox is partnering with InSkin in Germany, Spain and France to offer Flash-based, interactive ad formats. InSkn’s technology allows viewers to click on addition wraparound content about a brand’s campaign while watching a video clip. From Mandemglobal.com.

Karoo’s piracy u-turn: We predicted Kingston Communication’s Hull-based ISP Karoo would reverse its decision to unilaterally impose a three-strikes cut-off policy for users who download illegally and now it has. BBC HTML5: Auntie is prototyping basic videos in the nascent HTML5 standard, which promises richer web-based apps without plugins. The BBC is demoing chapter navigation within videos here, detailed here.
