Five Relaunches VOD Service: Five is relaunching its video-on-demand service Five Download as Demand Five in late May, and plans a “significant” on-air marketing campaign to promote it, reports Mediaweek. The service will offer a 30-day catch-up service for programmes from Five and digital channels Five US and Fiver, as well as archived content from its channels.

Velocix Launches Free Content Delivery Platform: Digital Asset Delivery Network Velocix launched a free service today for companies looking to deliver video, music, software or games over the internet. The new offering includes a 500GB per month delivery allowance for file download, video progressive streaming and website acceleration services - all provided free of cost (release).
