Croatian virtual shopping mall Trillenium has raised €1 million from Hrvoje Prpic, which launched the Croatian computer retail chains HG Spot.

The service launched this week in Croatia—it will be available elsewhere later on—and its owners soon hope to have agreements with 80 retailers in place.

A shop in the virtual mall is priced at €130 or €0.30 a square metre for a fixed period, with 180,000 square metres available. The site will mix online shopping with Second Life-style social interaction. Via Emportal.rs.

In the UK Ariadne Capital, run by Dragon’s Den resident Julie Meyer, funded two London-based virtual worlds with an emphasis on shopping in June.
