For the record - here‘s how the election was splashed Wednesday morning by homepages of BBC News, Guardian.co.uk, Telegraph.co.uk, Independent.co.uk, Times Online, Mail Online, FT.com, Evening Standard and Mirror.co.uk. Prize for worst headline of the bunch goes to the latter, with this shocker.
