Brighton, England-based mobile content developer BrightAI says it’s got an FLi (Football League Interactive) contract to develop mobile content for the league’s 80 soccer clubs.

The arrangement covers wallpapers, games and apps which BrightAI will aim to sell to supporters through its Boximo direct-to-consumer channel, which BrightAI offers for white-labeling through other sites.

In other words, BrightAI will get to tout club content through online store adjuncts to clubs’ own sites.

Supported handsets are Java phones, with Blackberry and Android due next year.

FLi manages the internet and mobile exploitation for the Football League and its member clubs. On the desktop, websites are managed by Perform Group.

BrightAI already had 11 football club clients outside the Football League.
