French Storage Data Provider Steek Buys Teen-focused Social Net Amiz.fr

imageFrench content storage company Steek has bought Paris-based teen social net platform Amiz.fr. Terms weren’t disclosed. Steek works with telcos and ISPs. Alarm Clock Euro says the company seems to want to push Steek data storage to Amiz.fr users, though it believes striking a partnership might have made better sense. Steek raised $8 million in a second round funding led by AGF Private Equity along with previous backer Innovacom in July. It secured $4 million first round two years. Release
