Geldof Gives Peace A Chance With New Conflict Video Site

imageBob Geldof’s Ten Alps documentary maker just launched PeaceChannel.tv, a non-profit website featuring videos about conflict situations around the world, and a JV with the Point Of Peace foundation. It’s rather limited so far - a handful of professionally-made videos from Ten Alps itself. Peace Channel claims “ambitious plans” to let viewers upload their own videos about global peace issues - “depending on funding”. One can’t help wondering whether they couldn’t have just used YouTube.
