Geldof’s TenAlps Buys B2B Trade Media Firm Sovereign Publications For Up To 2.6 Million GBP

Bob Geldof’s Ten Alps, the TV and online video production and now B2B media company, has bought Sovereign Publications, a B2B publishing company based in London. The transaction values Sovereign up to value of £2.625 million. Price breakdown: An initial £100,000 in cash with a possible further earn out payment of up to £850,000 payable on delivery of tiered profit targets. As part of the consideration Ten Alps will take on an estimated £1,675,000 of net liabilities on completion.

Sovereign has 33 titles and a range of associated websites, principally in the healthcare, finance, technology and energy sectors. Sovereign’s revenues for the financial year to May 2007 totaled £3.16 million. More in the release here.
