Independent News & Media Gets New COO; Adconion Chief Leaves; Tradewest Games MD

INM: The Indy publisher has appointed Vincent Crowley its new chief operating officer, following the promotion of Gavin O’Reilly to CEO in May. Crowley has been CEO of the company’s Irish division since 2002 and has carried out various roles for INM since 1990. As a result, the MD of INM’s Irish newspapers business Joe Webb is made CEO of the Ireland division. Release.

Adconion Media Group: The ad business’s MD Mike James has left the company after almost three years. No word on where he’s going or who’s next in line for his job, but the company says he will be replaced. From Media Week.

Tradewest Games: The UK games publisher—formerly the UK wing of Midway Games—has promoted Nick Howard to MD. The company was taken over in a management buyout after its parent Midway filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in February and is planning to launch new titles in 2010. From Gamesindustry.biz.
