—Dailymotion: The video sharing site’s UK MD Kate Burns is luring a Googler from her former employer to join her as commercial director. Gareth Walton will try to find revenue for the site, which has raised plenty of VC and now needs to start making money. —Viacom: Discovery Communications’ (NSDQ: DISCA) government affairs director Philip Jenner is joining Viacom (NYSE: VIA) to become European government relations VP, based out of London. In other words, he will be charged with lobbying the European Commission and member states on broadcast policy. Jenner also previously worked similar roles at BSkyB.
