Industry Moves: Ex-Kangaroo CEO Mackenzie Jumps To NetTV24/7

Lesley Mackenzie, the former BSkyB (NYSE: BSY) channels and operations director who was launch CEO of VOD JV Kangaroo for a brief while, has now been appointed CEO of NetTV24/7, a new web TV venture started by ex Top Up TV boss Ian West, MediaWeek says. Mackenzie was named CEO of the BBC/C4/ITV (LSE: ITV) venture upon its November unveiling but was replaced by Ashley Highfield on Tuesday. The new company’s first offering is 123webtv, a listings guide for web-based TV offerings from big broadcasters and smaller channels alike.
