Industry Moves: Former Betfair Exec Rorie Devine Appointed Yell CTO

Yell has appointed former Betfair chief technology officer Rorie Devine as its own CTO, responsible for the consumer- and client-facing technology behind the Yellow Pages maker’s Yell.com site.

He joins from online games company Bwin and previously worked at ntl. Both UK head of information services and director of new media technology Doug Ray will report to Devine.
Yell has injected a good deal of innovation into the site this year, from adding how-to clips from Videojug and becoming an authorised re-seller of Google adwords. Release.
