Industry Moves: IPC Media Appoints Fiona Dent MD Of Womens’ Division IPC Connect

imageIPC Media has appointed Fiona Dent as the new MD of its Women’s Weeklies division IPC Connect, moving her to one of the top jobs in the company from her current role as MD of its weekly TV mag divison IPC TX. It’s the first big appointment from newly appointed chief executive Evelyn Webster, who was promoted to CEO from the IPC Connect MD job last month following the departure of Sylvia Auton as CEO. Charlie Meredith (NYSE: MDP), publisher of What’s on TV and TV Easy is made MD of IPC TX. Both Meredith and Dent start their new roles on February 1 when they will also join the IPC Media board.
