Industry Moves: IPC Media, Virgin Media, BBCWW South Asia

IPC Media: IPC Media is making a new role of web technology director and has hired former RBI web solutions head Kelly Waters to the post, J.co.uk says`. Waters will be responsible for web technology platforms that power IPC’s sites.

Virgin Media Marketing director Lisa McCormack is leaving, Marketing Week reckons. She helped see through the rebrand of the merged ntl/Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM), and the earlier merger of ntl/Telewest.

BBC Worldwide The broadcaster named PV Shyam distribution head for south Asia, responsible for winning carriage for BBCWW channels including BBC World News, mad.co.uk says. Shyam will also be looking to take channels on to platforms like IPTV and mobile.
