Industry Moves: John Menzies Hires Digital Director From Zinio

High street newsagent John Menzies is taking Sarah Clegg, commercial director of digital magazine distributor Zinio, to be the new MD of its digital division. There’s plenty of synergy here as JM recently launched MagazinesOnDemand, a shop offering some 100 print titles for download as those awful screen-based page-turners. MediaWeek says it’s already got 20,000 subscribers for the service. Clegg is also a former Emap (LSE: EMA) consumer mags exec.
