Industry Moves: Palringo’s New CEO, Trutap’s New Director, Webjam’s New CTO
- Palringo: VoIP provider Vonage’s UK MD Kerry Ritz is leaving after over three years to become CEO of push-to-talk voice and instant message startup Palringo. Founded in 2006 by 21-year old Newcastle-native Martin Rosinki, Palringo lets users use existing IM protocols on their mobile phone. The venture scored $5 million (£2.5 million) investment in January.

- Trutap: The mobile social media app co-founded by former Dragon’s Den VC Doug Richard is appointing Wireless Industry Partnership (WIP) CEO Caroline Lewko to its board as a non-executive director. WIP aims to make mobile development innovation easier for companies in the space; Lewko has been in telecom since 1995.
- Webjam: Former Lycos Europe and be2 CTO John Eikenberry, an American who is an old hand around European web properties’ tech departments, becomes CTO of web community platform Webjam, adding a sixth nationality to the team. Via TC.
