imageFrench social media brand marketing platform Eyeka has been going through a top-tier overhaul. CEO Sadek Chekroun, who was Kelkoo’s French MD and therefore VP of Yahoo’s European e-commerce unit before joining Eyeka in 2007, left last month and has now been replaced by François Pétavy, a former eBay (NSDQ: EBAY) France director who joined as marketing VP last year. Sales VP Jean-Baptiste Niveau has also left to take up a similar post at Spir Communications. Eyeka said “Sadek Chekroun’s mission is now completed” after refocusing the company’s business model on marketing services and Asia-Pacific growth; he quit to work on “personal projects”.
