AOL: AOL’s (NYSE: TWX) Platform-A advertising Hydra, which recently appointed Brendon Condon as London-based international head, has made a series of UK appointments. Just as AOL UK’s MD Michael Steckler was moved to focus on Platform-A, its sales director Duncan George now has the same position for the ad net alone. AOL UK staff on the content side now report to the Europe office. More Platform-A moves at MediaWeek.

Ask.com: The search site has lured a second senior Googler, EMEA finance sales head Bryan Tookey, as its first European director, NMA reports. He will leave after a two-year stint. Google’s (NSDQ: GOOG) south Europe partnerships head Cesar Mascaraque previously left to become Ask.com European MD.
