Good luck to Ian Griffiths, the former Emap (LSE: EMA) finance director whom ITV (LSE: ITV) has just announced in the same post. ITV COO John Cresswell said Griffiths will be “working to deliver our plans for improving financial performance”. Indeed, Griffiths joins with ITV in a precipitous state, on the verge of dropping from the FTSE 100 and having pushd back its mightily ambitious £150 million online sales target by two years. Griffiths: “This is an exciting opportunity ... I look forward to contributing to the implementation of the turnaround strategy.”
