VBS: Viacom (NYSE: VIA) Brand Solutions, which handles sales Viacom brands MTV, VH1 and Comedy Central, has poached Five’s head of sales Jamie West to be its new investment director, responsible for advertising models across TV, online and mobile. He replaces Ross Belcher, who left to join Telegraph Media Group in May. From Mediaweek.

Virgin Media: Digital services marketing controller John Conlon is leaving after spending nine years with the company, NMA says. Conlon came over after Virgin Media (NSDQ: VMED) absorbed Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM), which Conlon joined in 2000.

Telefonica: The O2 parent has replaced the head of its German operations, after just two years in the post. Ex-Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) manager Rene Schuster will take over in June as CEO of O2 Germany, after its current chief exec Jaime Smith has been called back to Madrid to become Director of Affiliates and Industrial Alliances.
