Industry Moves: Vodafone; Virgin Media’s IDS; Punktilio

Vodafone: David Wheldon is leaving his role as global brand director for the mobile operator. He had been with Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) since 2004, when he joined from WPP as the company’s first brand supremo. (Via Marketing Week.)

IDS: Steven McHenry is the new digital controller of IDS, the ad sales house for all of Virgin Media’s TV and online properties. He will report to Stuart Flint, director of digital. (Via Media Week.)

Punktilio: Hal Stokes, the former global head of music for social networking site Bebo, has launched social media agency Punktilio. Early clients include Phones4u and Syco Entertainment, where the agency will be managing social media profiles for artists on the label. (Via NMA.)
