Industry Moves: Zinio Adds UK Director, Buckley Upped At AdMob

Zinio The digital mags e-edition distributor has hired Carole Jordorson to be its UK director of business development, MediaWeek says. She had previously been Walker Media trading director, Lycos UK sales director and ecommerce head at AOL (NYSE: TWX) UK. She will now try to add UK publishers to the San Francisco-based outfit’s platform, which has a European partnership with Havas.

AdMob Mobile ad sales veteran Russell Buckley from European MD to global alliances VP, picking Thomas Schultz to replace him back in Europe. Buckley is also global chairman of the Mobile Marketing Association. AdMob claims to have served 50 billion mobile ads in its first 34 months, and it bagged $15.7 million funding in October.
