Interview: Joanna Shields, International President, Bebo: Opening The Media

Bebo international president Joanna Shields spoke with paidContent:UK at the launch of the social network’s Open Media platform at Bafta headquarters on London’s Piccadilly (see launch post, liveblog coverage and photos). While pop stars posed for photos against a wall of Bebo logos, Shields said the site was “evolving in to much more of a social media company”. Shields conceded she uses Facebook, but likened the site to a Blackberry - to Bebo’s iPod Touch.
