IPC Launches Home Design Site HouseToHome; Content From Multiple Magazines

Magazine publisher IPC has launched a new website for UK home furnishing enthusiasts. HouseToHome leverages several years’ worth of reviews, tips and photographs from across IPC’s editorial portfolio, which includes Home & Gardens, Ideal Home and Living etc. Isobel McKenzie, editor of Time Inc’s All You magazine, will leave the post to become HouseToHome editorial director in July. The site also features utilities like color scheme guides, room planners and research notebooks. Unilever is on board as a launch advertiser. TV is already awash with home makeover programs - coupled with the launch of MyDeco.com, this points to the emergence of more home-centric web offerings, likely as a result of the continued profitable UK housing market and the mainstream adoption of broadband (mad.co.uk).
