Video site Joost wants to show more than just English-language videos. The service has just added 11 German content partners; their vids will be published through Joost’s new distribution partnership with pan-European social network Netlog, as well as on Joost itself, but international acquisitions VP Stacey Seltzer, in a release, also said: “Joost plans to roll out localised offerings in a number of European countries. Germany is one of the first markets where we’re able to partner with ... content and social networking partners, in order to create an ... entertainment experience for consumers in this country. Europe is a priority for Joost and this partnership is a significant step towards engaging that market.”
