Directory assistance firm kgb has acquired British SMS mobile search company Texperts, the company said in a statement. The New York-based, privately held firm did not disclose how much it had paid for Texperts or the terms of the deal. Kgb, one of the world’s largest directory assistance firms, said it had purchased Texperts for its software and its expertise and that the acquisition would help strengthen its mobile text services, particularly its UK text advertising program launched last year.
