LaNetro Zed Gets Private Equity Investment

Spanish mobile content firm LaNetro Zed has received some equity funding from Veronis Suhler Stevenson (VSS), the U.S.-based private equity firm, which will now be represented on the board of directors. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Javier Pérez Dolset, CEO of LaNetro Zed, said that VSS would help the company grow its business in the American market, “a key objective for the company at present”. It’s unclear if this is part of previously announced plans to raise $71.7 million. (via e-mail release).
LaNetro recently acquired majority in UK ringtone company Monstermob as well.
