Mobile Agency Bluestar Sells To Germany’s Yoc

It seems M&A in the mobile marketing space are like London buses - you wait for ages, then two come along at once. No sooner had mobile interactivity vendor Upstream announced it’s raised €11 million this morning, now mobile agency Bluestar Mobile has confirmed it’s selling to Germany’s YOC Group.

Bluestar has built mobile websites for Sun Online, Mirror.co.uk and Times Online, plus British Airways’ London city guide app and marketing for Motorola (NYSE: MOT) amongst its client work.

Berlin-based Yoc - which already does mobile shopping coupons, consumer research, marketing and content production - says it’s doing the acquisition to build up its UK presence
