Pathé Launches Mobile Movie Info Portal In Netherlands

Film business Pathé has launched a mobile movie information service in the Netherlands. Using Pathé Mobile, cinema-goers send an SMS with “FILM” to a mobile short code to receive movie listings from their local theater. So far, so mundane. But the service also returns to handsets a Java application that allows users to browse further listings, read reviews, view trailers and stills and reserve tickets. The software is powered by Sharewire’s Mobicat application.
