Spanish operator Telefónica has signed up to launch 100% Mobile, a mobile portal and shop managed by Player X Distribution. The portal will have a range of mobile games from global publishers such as Namco and Spanish publishers such as Movilenio and Iteration Mobile. The portal is already on UK operator O2. Player X said further stores will be launched in the second quarter. The site has several purchasing options including try-before-you-buy, monthly subscription, 24-hour rental and pay-per-play, and buying the game outright.
