Sport sells Front: Daily Sport publisher Sport Media Group has sold lads’ mag Front for just £87,500 to start-up Kane Limited, just 14 months after buying it for £265,000. SMG reveals that the title and its parent company Flip Media made a pre-tax (and pre-consultants’ fee) loss of £115,000 in the year to July 31. Citing internal figures, SMG claims Daily Sport circulation now averages nearly 85,000 a day. Release.

Guardian Travel: Guardian.co.uk is making the most of its deal with Expedia’s affiliate network to expand its travel booking facility, powered by Expedia’s white label service. Previously the site offered bookings via Travelsupermarket and Lastminute.com. From NMA.

NME iPhone app: Another day, another magazine brand launching an iPhone app: this time it’s IPC Media’s NME, which today puts its NME Radio on the app store, priced £0.59. The app streams music and allows user to click and buy tracks via iTunes.
