imageThe Face: The style title that rose to become the fashion addict’s mag of choice in the 80s and 90s could be resurrected by Bauer Media five years after its closure, according to one report. Bauer hasn’t ruled it in or out, it says there are no current relaunch plans. From Mediaweek.

thelondonpaper: News International’s loss-making evening newspaper could become a loss-making morning paper this year as the company enters the bidding for the the rights to distribute at 250 London Underground stations, a contract currently held by DMGT’s Metro. NI COO Clive Milner said the company was “very interested” in the contract. Via Mediaweek.

Express Newspapers: A restructuring at Richard Desmond’s national newspaper division’s commercial department has resulted in four redundancies, including two group heads of advertising. From Mediaweek.

Pearson: The Financial Times publisher has held talks with Spanish publisher and El Pais owner Prisa over taking a stake in its Spanish language school textbook business Santillana. Reports suggest Pearson (NYSE: PSO) is after a 30 percent stake for €360 million (£310.1 million). From FT.com.
