Reuters (NSDQ: RTRSY) will follow up its partnership to produce a branded online/print business news section for the International Herald Tribune (NYSE: TRB) with a contract to supply FT.com with its direct-to-consumer web video packages, The Guardian predicts. The pair will supposedly announce the wire’s Reuters News Video service’s addition to FT.com’s existing video section, which produces over 100 in-house financial news videos per month. No points for joining the dots between this partnership and the appointment in November of Reuters Video editor Richard Edgar as FT.com’s first ever head of video. The Reuters News Video offering pumps up to 15 videos a day out to syndication partners.
