Sanoma Magazines, the European magazine and online publisher, is continuing on its acquisition streak, this time in Bulgaria: it has bought 68 percent stake in NetInfo.BG, one of the bigger Bulgarian portals. It intends to buy the rest over the next few years. NetInfo owns online properties like Abv.bg (the Bulgarian free e-mail service), Gbg.bg (a directory site), Vbox7.com (a local streaming video site) and Netinfo.bg (a news information site). In 2007, Net Info’s net sales amounted to EUR 2.3 million and the company employed 127 full-time employees, it said. More details in the release here.
