Round two is led by Sussex Place Ventures, along with Nesta, The Accelerator Group and angels - all original backers - TechCrunch says.
Skimlinks affiliate sites use links like these to point readers to retailers’ sites, taking a commission of any sales. Skimlinks, too, gets a cut.
Skimlinks’ particular differentiator lets web publishers convert any retailer links on their page in to affiliate links just be including one piece of code, meaning Skimlinks provides an on-ramp to other affiliate networks, as well as directly to retailers like Amazon.
TechCrunch: “The company also says that it’s seen month-on-month growth of 35% in the past year, and that November alone saw £6 million in merchant sales go through its platform.”
