Susan Boyle reprised her original I Dreamed A Dream number, but her dream ended Saturday night when dance troupe Diversity’s won Britain’s Got Talent (video). In the end, perhaps it was the very phenomenal fame that Boyle garnered through YouTube that nobbled her chances. She has been one of the quickest stars ever created - and, as we in the UK all know, Brits love to bash their stars.
The question now - what next for Boyle? Speculation will undoubtedly centre on an album contract with Simon Cowell’s Syco Sony (NYSE: SNE) BMG imprint but, given Boyle’s state of mind in the run-up to the final, all those concerned will want to ensure they don’t push the Scotswoman too far…
