More reports on iPhone’s European arrival and this one from FT sounds more definitive: it has signed with T-Mobile in Germany, Orange in France and O2 in the UK, and the three have agreed to hand over to Apple 10 percent of the revenues made from calls and data transfers over iPhones. The operators are set officially to announce the partnerships at the IFA trade fair in Berlin at the end of August.

This is the first time in Europe that a handset manufacturer would get a rev share of the call/data revenues, and may possibly lead to other handset companies demanding some share. Tough to say, and of course, would be interesting to see what handset changes (including 3G), if any, does Apple make before the European launch.
